The 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational is considered one of the most professional golf tournaments on the PGA Tour. The tournament will begin July 30–02 August at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee. It’ll be the 22nd WGC Invitational tournament, and therefore the third of the world Golf Championships events in 2020. Michael Thompson Wins 3M Open by Two Strokes

What a great weekend has been finished with the 3M open golf tournament held at Blaine, Minnesota, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Michael Thompson who has been struggling from many years but eventually after a hard work he has been able to win the PGA tour since after 2013.

Dustin Johnson, at No. 4, the highest-ranked player within the field, played his first six holes at 1-under. He played his last six holes at 1-under. He played his middle six holes at 9-over and finished at 7-over 78 – tied for last within the 156-player field – before withdrawing from the tournament later within the afternoon with a back injury.

So, without any further ado, here are all-inclusive rounds detail you should know of the 3M Open Golf Tournament.

Round 1

(Richy Werenski -8)

Richy Werenski, looking for his first PGA victory, birdied the last hole to get a one-shot lead the first round, while Tony Finau was two shots off the pace. Finau bounced back once again from a devastating final two rounds at the Memorial last week with a powerful 65 in Round 1. He led after 18 holes last week at Muirfield Village, but there is a big difference in those two rounds. Last week, he caught a hot putter and jumped call at the front.

This week, he flushed everything he checked out and led the field from tee to green within the first round. His swing looks so on point immediately, and a win in the week will likely not come right down to his physical gifts but rather whether he can appropriately harness them mentally as he tries to grab just the second trophy of his career.

T3. Matthew Wolff, Ryan Moore, Max Homa (-6)

Incredible round from Wolff as defending champ. He’s been destroyed for a few months now from tee to green after 12 months of pretty average play (for what I do know he believes his standards are). In his third round at the 3M Open, Richy Werenski hit 13 of 18 greens in regulation and completing at 15 under for the tournament. He completed his third round joined hand with 1st at 15 under with Michael Thompson.

Tony Finau (-13)

Tony Finau hit 7 of 14 fairways and 13 of 18 greens in regulation, completing at 13 under for the competition. Finau completed his day tied for third at 13 under with Charl Schwartzel.

Charl Schwartzel (-13)

In his third round at the 3M Open, Charl Schwartzel hit 9 of 14 fairways and 14 of 18 greens in regulation and had an excellent day on the green leaving no misses on putts inside 10 feet. Schwartzel completed his day tied for third at 13 under with Tony Finau.

Final day

Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson shoots a final-round 67 to claim his second win on the PGA TOUR. He hit 16 of 18 greens in regulation during his final round at the 3M Open and had a good round of putting, with no misses on putts within 10 feet. Thompson completed his day in 1st at 19 under and furthermore he received won the $1,188,000.

Adam Long

Adam Long hit 17 of 18 greens in regulation during his final round at the 3M Open, finishing at 17 under for the tournament. Long finished his day in 2nd at 17 under. Adam Long won the $719,400 runner up’s share of the $6,600,000 purse.

Robby Shelton

Robby Shelton hit 12 of 14 fairways and 18 of 18 greens in regulation, completing at 16 under for the tournament. At the 424-yard par-4 fifth, Shelton got on in 2 and missed his par putt from 3 feet, completing with a 3-putt bogey. This moved Shelton to 1 over for the round. . He collects $ 250,800.

Emiliano Grillo

In his final round at the 3M Open, Emiliano Grillo hit 11 of 14 fairways and 17 of 18 greens in regulation and completed the day without a bogey. At the 177-yard par-3 fourth, he hit a tee shot 175 yards at the green, setting himself up for the 16-foot putt for birdie. He received $ 250,800.

Casey has played twice in the restart, and he missed the cut a week ago after a T-32 at Travelers. Difficult to have a perspective on him this week, however, he’s ranked higher within the OWGR which is as it should be.

10- Sam Burns

The 23-year-old had been in the best 30 in his last three beginnings, including a T-17 at the Workday.

Big Tony Finau hit 11 of 18 greens in regulation during his second round at the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, completing at 9 under and finished his round tied for 1st at 9 under with Ryan Palmer.

Chez Reavie hit 8 of 14 fairways and 13 of 18 greens in regulation, completing at 6 under for the tournament. Reavie finished his second round tied for 4th at 6 under with Gary Woodland.

However, he had a great round of putting, with no misses on putts within 10 feet. Reavie completed his day tied for 18th at 1 under.

Round 3

Jon Rahm (-12)

Tony Finau (-8)

Tony Finau hit 5 of 14 fairways and 10 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 8 under in his third round. Finau completed his day tied for 2nd at 8 under with Ryan Palmer.

Danny Willett (-6)

Danny Willett hit 11 of 18 greens in regulation during his third round and rebounded from a poor front to deliver a robust finish. Willett finished his day in 4th at 6 under.
However In his second round, he hit 8 of 14 fairways and 13 of 18 greens in regulation and had an excellent day on the green leaving no misses on putts within 10 feet. On the 527-yard par-5 fifth hole, Willett reached the green in 3 and sunk an 11-foot putt for birdie.

Final Round

1st Jon Rahm

The 2020 Memorial Tournament final leaderboard is headed by winner Jon Rahm. Dustin Johnson’s Consistency Shines Through at Travelers Championship 2020

The 2020 Travelers Championship is the third tournament played after the PGA Tour’s restart.  Many famous Golfers participated in the Travelers Championship Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. Unlike the first two events, a couple of golf players pulled back before the event because of positive tests for COVID-19 to either themselves or those close to them. We have brought you the highlights of all over the rounds. The 69th edition of the Travelers Championship golf tournament held on June 25 to June 28, 2020. Let’s find out all the rounds in detail.

Round 1, June 25, 2020

Mackenzie Hughes birdied three of his last four holes to get to 10 under overall and went to the last realizing he would require a birdie there for 59. He had a 40-footer for the bird after a mediocre drive and somehow short it left. Really short, as well. It’s in every case great to shoot 60, however, it needed not to get that one even within the vicinity. Phil Mickelson turned in his best single-round score of the season to require sole possession of the lead at the 2020 Travelers Championship.

Mickelson backed up his round 1, 64 with a 7-under 63 on round 2 and leads the event after 36 holes of play at TPC River Highlands. Mickelson began with one bogey and three pars through the initial four holes. He turned things around during a significant way from that time on with eight birdies throughout the following 14 holes.

Will Gordon hit 9 of 14 fairways and 17 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 12 under for the tournament. Gordon finished his day tied for 2nd at 12 under with Mackenzie Hughes.

It wasn’t as sensational as his first round, but Mackenzie Hughes is more than satisfied with his score of 68 on round 2 at the Travelers Championship. He made four birdies, along with a couple of bogeys, and finds himself at 12 under. By the end of round 2, he was in third place at the leaderboard.

Round 3, June 27, 2020

Brendon Todd and Dustin Johnson got everyone’s attention during the third round of the 2020 Travelers Championship on Saturday. Todd, who started the day as a major part of a five-way tie for the fourth spot, took the inside and out lead with 18 holes remaining to shoot a 61 to bring down his three-round score to 18 under par.

Dustin Johnson shoots up abruptly at the leaderboard after completing the second round in the 20th.

Todd has been on point through 54 holes, with no single-round score above 66. His success stems in large part from his capacity to hit the fairway.  Inputting the ball on the fairway for each hole in the third round, Todd hit 88.9 per cent of greens in regulation and increased 2.8 strokes putting.

Kevin Streelman hit 9 of 14 fairways and 14 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 15 under for the tournament. He finished his round 3 in 3rd at 15 under.

Final Round, June 28, 2020

At the final round, 4th day at TPC River Highlands, close to a hundred people available in these strange pandemic days to witness what Johnson’s 21st PGA TOUR victory. Beginning two behind, Johnson made four birdies on the front, turned in 32 to overtake Todd, at that point apparently headed into victory with another birdie at the tenth.

2020 Travelers Championship: Things to know about the Tournament

The Travelers Championship is considered one of the most professional golf tournaments on the PGA tour in Cromwell, Connecticut, a suburb south of Hartford. Since 1984 the golf tournament has been held at TPC River Highlands. It is overseen by The Greater Hartford Community Foundation. The 69th edition of the Travelers Championship starting from Jun 25 to Jun 28, 2020.

The PGA Tour is rolling. The Charles Schwab Challenge in Week 1 of the return in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic was tremendous, but last week RBC Heritage at wonderful Harbor Town was even better. 2019 Travelers Championship
